Meteor 'Outburst' Expected Friday Morning

AFP - For as long as records exist, the Perseid meteor showers have always been strong. This summer's Perseid shower will be exceptional. The moon is mostly out of the way later in the night, and higher-than-normal activity rates are expected over the United States.

Outburst Meteor

I didn't catch this post soon enough. Well its actually a month later. I really wish I would have seen it then so I could have experienced it. Did anyone get the chance to see this first hand?
