SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - E-learning technology is helping to address one of the Church's current challenges: training a diverse Church membership spread throughout the world with a consistent message. In September 2002, the First Presidency announced that annual worldwide leadership training meetings by satellite would teach and train local leaders to apply the Church's doctrines and principles on a local level. During the first
worldwide leadership meeting, President Gordon B. Hinckley emphasized the importance of uniform training.
I think it's a great idea, to have the visual instruction along with the printed curriculum. Reading is not the same as watching a thing done by someone who already knows how.
