While playing in school the boys would always make fun of any guy who lost a chess match to a girl. Was it like this for you if you grew up playing chess? Is there an association of manliness associated to the game that you cannot loose to any females?
I guess everywhere is the same ... I mean when I was a kid (and even later), the same thing happened if a boy lost to a girl. And not only at chess; no matter the game, it was pretty bad to lose to a girl.

I understand what you mean, but I guess a lost to a girl in those years also seemed to imply that you aren't very smart, thus implying that girls are already not very smart (I could see Tena attacking this already), yes, it is ridiculous, but that is how the immature ones seem to assimilate their thoughts.
