Anarchy - When Government Is Spread Thin
According to www.dictionary.com, anarchy is a failure of political control.

We currently have a "short term" anarchy growing in the South, where law enforcement and governmental authority is nonexistent in parts of the storm affected areas -- in some areas, like New Orleans, because the violence is so bad, even the rescuers have been pulled out.

The National Guard is coming in with some 10,000 to 28,000 troops. Martial law will be imposed, if it hasn't already begun. Can the military actually clean things up? There are plenty of guns and ammo that were looted along with beer and backpacks. I wonder how long this horror is going to last.
