I tested this game briefly because I saw it was free and there were a few good reviews, but I can't say it appeals to me. Basically you start out as Mr. Smith dodging bullets using the movements of the Matrix, but I found enabling the moves difficult. See what you think, there are two versions: one with music(18MB) and one without (3MB)

Overall, the game is pretty monotonous having the same gameplay on each level setting and the same background and fairly average graphics. The game doesn't scroll at all and you have to look at a corridor the whole time. When you get hit, it switches to 'bullet time' for a moment but its not that exciting.

If you want to play a Matrix game, give this a go but don't hang out for the music, go for the small download. Especially for those on dial-up.

Software Related Matrix

Its odd, allot of people actually like this game. I got sent this link a few weeks ago by a big Matrix fan friend of mine at work. I liked it at first. I could take or leave the music. But I kept expecting something different and exciting to take place, for a new and better part of the game that never came. The came quickly became boring and monotonous as you said.

Well, I tried to download the game, but it seems to be offline now. I just realized how old this post was. Anyway, they left the description up with some screenshots. It looks pretty cool because of how his arms and legs move almost independently, giving it that bullet-time effect. Too bad it's not around anymore.
