Congratulations to our new Member of the Month.

You will notice there are 'Sponsored Links' in between posts and you may wish to get used to them as we have begun to open up the Community for greater exposure since it is not effective to keep it so secured and isolated having only a very few contributors to its' development.

Later you will see other changes start to take effect and updates will be posted here as they happen.

Changes

The Bare Bones is now the default skin and based on certain tests it is the best Skin for initial introductions into the Community based on the KISS principle. Later members can choose to use a more intense Skin.

News Bot

Now that we have certain new features in place we can once again bring new topics and subjects to the Community as there is no longer a dependency on Members for activity based on our recent measures.

Clean Up Old Threads

We are embarking on a campaign to slowly clean up (fix grammar, spelling) old threads. If you find a Thread that is particularly horrid, please do let us know about it by providing a link.

New Board Added

Substance Abuse Recovery has just been added. Please see the Read Me First thread within the Board for details.

Boards Shifted

The Religions section is quite large so we took out all the Boards not related to that topic and placed them under a Category called, 'Psychology, Arts & Culture'. Within this section you will find two main Boards and then Sub-Boards, see the Board Index for details. The Site Map has already been updated to reflect this.

Non-Active Posters Deleted

About 150 Members were deleted for inactivity, their intro messages have also been deleted. All posts have been recounted so you may notice a difference in your post count if you spent a lot of time in the Welcome Board.

Stay Abreast

There are many changes taking place within the Community, therefore both Members and Moderators are advised to take the initiative and seek out the relevant threads that are updated so as to keep informed.

Membership Delete

Deleted 147 Members who joined and did not post very much at all.

Cleared T&T Board

There were many threads there that had nothing but dialect, I have removed most of them and there may be one or two bad apples hidden, I will get to them all.

Post Count Reset

The post count has been reset again, but you may notice more of an increase than a decrease since all RPG posts are being counted again.

Guests Can Read

Guests can now read most of the content within our threads save for the sections already labeled for Mature / RPGs / Blogs / Welcome and Rave.

Key Page Enhanced

We now have a terrific why join page that you can show to your friends, have a look here. Our Site Map and RPG Page has also been updated.

Updates

1. Former posters are no longer called, 'Wannabe', but 'A Friend'. This will now appear in their posts as well as the Online list.

2. Removed a lot of needless posts in the FAQ section and merged a couple.

3. Recounted posts again.

Two New Boards

The RPG Review and United States Boards have been added.

Custom Profile Field Edits

Additions to available choices have been added to the Custom fields.
