I am sure you all remember Gilligan's Island and Bob Denver was the actor who interpreted Gilligan in the popular TV show. He passed away on September 2nd, 2005. He really enjoyed doing the show and even though he was remember and will be remember as Gilligan forever, he never regret taking the role.

There is a poem on the fan site listed above that is very touching. Its hard to believe that one role could define the career of someone so well. His character endeared himself to watchers like very few TV characters have. His passing is the passing of a TV generation and the passing of one of TV's most beloved characters of all time.
