Well, at least the spiders are gone
Reuters - A German woman laid waste to her family home by setting fire to it as she tried to kill spiders in a garage with a can of hairspray and a cigarette lighter.

Well, I really hate spiders, but this was absurd. I am still laughing at this incredible exercise in futility. She burns the garage, then the hedge, then the hose she is using to put it out with. This is a future darwin award winner.
Is it bad for me to laugh at this woman's lack of common sense? There are so many warnings on the bottles of hairspray cans that say the contents are flammable. Still...if people didn't do acts of the perpetually stupid, life would not be nearly as amusing would it?
I feel bad for the neighbor's house. Even though it only sustained minor damage, that's still damage to their house. I'm not quite sure I would find the situation as amusing if my house had received damage from this type of incident.
What I want to know...
"Hi, State Farm Insurance? Spiders burned my house down."
Who is that comedian who says that stupid people should wear a sign that says "Stupid"? I forget his name, but he always tells about a stupid-people situation and then says, "Here's your sign."
Well, this lady just earned hers.
"Here's your sign."
This lady has obviously been watching too many James Bond, and Home Alone movies. It does remind me of that Night Gallery episode where the man kep rinsing the spider down the sink and it kept returning even larger each time.... Kind of version of the itsy bitsy spider. I wonder if she actually killed any of the spiders?
