Do you still have LP records that need a stereo with a needle to play? If so, why do you still keep them? Do you have a stereo set capable of playing these records?

I gave them up long ago, mostly because of moving, but if I still had them then I would of already have been looking for a CD / digital replacement as I cannot stand the sound of a scratch or husk of the needle.

I guess since I am only 24 year old I am at a loss on this topic. What was a record again? wink.gif That is a little bit of an exageration since I have had a few that my father gave me, but I have to say that I do not own a record player so who has a need for a record?

I still have about 150 records, I couldn't part with them ,they are part of my 'youth'.
When we move house, my Husband doesn't even ask anymore, he just puts the box in the attic *smiles*

Records players do seem to be making a come back here in the Uk, although at the moment the price is still quite high for a basic one (around $350)
So I intend to wait until the price comes down and buy myself one.... hopefully all my records will have survived all these years and still be playable laugh.gif.
