Oh I thought as he was in the reserves he might of handsome part to play. Usually in military parades here they usually like to show the reserves or get them to assist the crowd or protect the full-time troops while they march.

They use the trainee cadets, the younger ones for the parades as well as the full time naval personnel. As Ant is in the reserves he could have gone with the local cadets but was working away from home so missed out....maybe next year for him
