I just read your blog and saw you went camping! I love camping and have taken my family camping once already and plan on going again in June. My kids are young so it was quite an adventure, they were worn out everyday absolutely going wild in the woods and at the lake! Sorry about being sick, its one of the reason that I am never to far from the facilities when I go camping!

You live and learn by your mistakes, it was a lesson that I really learnt from.

The kids can't wait to go again, but it was freezing at night in the tent, so I'm not too keen on going until at least the nights have started to get a bit warmer.
At least we all got some fresh air! *smiles*

So DianeC, when are we going to have the privilege of seeing a picture of you as your avatar instead of staring at these traffic signals? You can't use the excuse of scaring people, because I have already accomplished that with my picture. You do know that one of the requirements of becoming a moderator is putting a picture up, right?

If you want to send a picture I can disguise it so no one knows it is you and yet have something of you here. I can also show it beforehand for your approval. However, even with that said, you may wish to select an actual face from those already given as an option. In this way you may seem more 'real' even if it is not actually you, I guess it is more 'approachable' than a traffic signal is what everyone is trying to say.

Hi Malexander, no need whatsoever for you to apologize, I don't expect people to be mind readers and I read your message with the good humor that you wrote it.
It was just coincidence that your last posting coincided with a thread that I had answered on adoption, so I just thought it was easier to give a bit more explanation in my blog.
My husband and son laugh at my 'traffic lights', so I will probably be changing them soon.Best wishes, Diane.

Hi JB, I hadn't given much thought to looking a bit odd with the traffic light *smiles*, I will look at changing it to something more approachable!
