Firefly And Serenity

Has anyone seen the series 'firefly' and the movie that followed 'serenity'? I fell in love with Joss Whedons "space bonanza". I love the characters and their interactions. The show was cancelled and I don't know if there will be another movie, it's a shame it didn't take off more. Just wondering if there are any other fans?!

Serenity Firefly

I have seen Serenity, and loved it. However, my sons had to explain who some of the characters were.

I haven't yet seen a full episode of Firefly. My oldest son has the complete series on DVD, but he is far away from us right now, in Utah.

Serenity Firefly

I had never heard of Firefly until I saw a preview for Serenity. I got so excited about the preview when we first saw it because it had a girl in it who could kick butt. I love seeing movies that go beyond the stereotypical "Girl=damsel in distress" move.

I loved the movie. I loved the sarcastic humor in it because it was pulled off extremely well. I think the type casting was perfect, even though I know the cast was set from the television series.

I have scene a small bit of an episode of Firefly, but I have been looking everywhere around here to buy the first season. I was so upset because Wal-Mart had it for sale for $20, and I did not get it when I had the instinct to. Now I've only seen it once and it was, of course, double that, and now I can't even find it.

Serenity Firefly

Just wanted to let you know that there is only one season of Firefly. You might be able to find it at either Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. It is worth seeing them, at least once.

The show was created by Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and Angel.
