F-1 RACING ADOPTS NEW RULES FOR 2006
Formula One will have a new system to award the pole position for its races next season.

I like one of the reasons they used to implement the new rule:

I like all the changes to F1 this year, and this pole qualifying system seems to be a lot more interesting. It seems as though there will be 15 cars on the track at the same time for the initial 15minute session, basically a race in itself. This seems to be rather a novel way of doing it, as the nature of F1 in the past has been to keep the cars as far apart as possible during qualifying.
Let's just hope it works, and then lets hope the cars are able to pass on most tracks as that has been the biggest bore of the past 5 or 6 seasons...
