Did you ever read the Comic Ads that were in the older versions? Ones like 'Sea Monkeys' and 'Mr. Atlas'? I have not read a Comic for so long I don't even know if they have ads like that anymore.

Ads Comic

Newspaper comics don't have allot of ads in them anymore. Comic books seem to have allot of ads geared towards action figures of their comic heroes and selling subscriptions to their comic series. I also see the ocassional cartoon ad for TV series.

Yes there are no more ads in the comics for x ray glasses and the like. It has become a commercial industry and you can now see adds for playstation games, upcoming movies, and junk food. I still like to read some of the ads in my silver age comics though.
