Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron was recently interviewed in a Reader's Digest, and after reading the piece, I have a much higher respect for her. I've always thought that she was an amazing actress, but she has gone through an amazingly rough ride in her life.

She was born on August 7th, 1975 in South Africa, and grew up on a farm. Her mother is German, while her father was French. One night her father came home in a drunken rage, and her mother, in self defense, shot him. She's moved past it, and stated in the article that she doesn't like to talk about it anymore.

She was also a part of the first organization that really began speaking up about rape in South Africa, and she is involved in animal advocacy.

She is an amazing actress. I remember reading an interview about her and the journalist met her at a restaurant and he could not believe the amount of food this woman can eat. She ordered a huge steak and a lot of more stuff that she ate like nothing...and look at her fugure! **. She also mentioned in the interview about what Babyblues said about the incident with her father, she said she "moved on" with that topic but the journalist thought it was interesting she was saying that because she was having a nervous smile on her face and tears were flowing down her cheeks. She obviously did not "moved on" at all.

I saw her in "monster" and I thought "wow, she deserves an Oscar for this!" and she got it. She is very talented.

I have not seen Monster, and probably won't get the chance to, but I have heard she did an amazing job in it. The first movie I really recall her in was Sweet November with Keanu Reeves. That movie was done really well, and she did a great job. She has played a plethora of character types, and has managed to pull every single one of them off.

If she thought she had food poisoning why did she not go to the hospital in the first place. I hope that what ever she got is not very contagious and it is just a stomach virus.

Oh no! I hope its not like one of those mystery viruses they show on TLC where its so rare no one knows about it. Shes like one my favorite actresses.

She definitely has a pretty face but her body isn't proportionate. Of course I'm just being overly critical but she has a wide waste, stringy legs and a broad back, just not my taste. She's a good actress though.
