On occasion... Poetry isn't quite enough for me. Sometimes I need more to satiate my emotions and stresses.
I had been reading up some things involving religion and christianity when I ran across an interesting exert from the bible. It was about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This particularly intriqued me...How the different horses represented a different endeavor for the destruction of the earth.... War, famine, pestilence and death.
So, inspiration dawning, I decided to write.... But instead, got a bit carried away and did a piece of art to go with it. Anyway, here it is. Please... Feel free to comment and give me your opinions....
Grave Angel
A pious child, who watches the stones...
Lingers the tombs and gaurds the bones.
Atop the mound, atop the graves...
Between the tombs, amongst the slaves...
That belong to hell, the firey cave...
She says a prayer, for their soul's unsaved.
She dances silently, angel on earth.
She fears no dead or filthy hearth.
In hollow darkness they sneak, they lurk.
Smited by The Demon's hand and smirk.
Kissed by his bittersweet tongue,
their endless howls, cries -- unsung.
And she whispers there... Among--
The suicidal and the hung...
Praying for their lost souls in flames.
Gaurding their place with a love untamed.
She watches us all, perfect, unnamed.
Humanity.. Justice... We're all the same.
We sit on the shelf of last breaths...
And wait for the horsemen... The Child of Death.

I found the poem to be quite good and was very curious what the image looked like to go with it.. , sadly I don't seem to have permission to use the link..
so I will have to use my own imagination.
