CRYSTAL LAKE, Illinois - Andrew Baker is your typical teenager in many ways. He is also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he recently left home to serve a mission in Nevada. "Why I'm going on my mission, bottom line is really because I love God," Baker said. "I want to keep His commandments."

What better reason can you have really for serving a mission? As I look back I have met many that really wanted to serve, others that did it because their parents said so, and a few that thought it would make a good vacation. Hopefully, for this young man serving in Nevada will be a life changing experience for the better.
