Nobel Prize Winner Claude Simon, 91, Dies
AP - Nobel laureate Claude Simon, a pioneer of the experimental "new novel" style of the late 1950s and early 1960s, has died. He was 91.

According to nobelprize.org Claude Simon was born in 1913 at Tananarive (Madagascar). His parents were French, his father being a career officer who was killed in the first World War.
