Upside Down Tree

Did anyone see the CNN report on the upside down trees that are selling like hot bread? Why would anyone want to buy an upside down tree? The seller of the idea says that store owners wanted a way of displaying trees without taking up room, so they hung them upside down, but it seems that everyone wants one too. Seems anti-Christmas?

Tree Upside

Well, I don't think is Anti-Christmas. I just think that one more time someone got an idea to make a few bucks in the holiday season. wink.gif

I would not buy an upside-down tree personally because I do not think it looks good.

I didn't see the report, but I can imagine the scene... No, I wouldn't buy an upside down tree, but I suppose it's because I'm just not cool or trendy wink.gif

Tree Upside

I saw one of these at the mall the other day. It looked quite stupid actually. My SO commented that it was just a bunch of rich people with too much time on their hands laugh.gif

There will always be the crowd that has to follow the latest trend just so they can say they did. For me no thanks.

It looks so stupid, though, that I hope this is something nobody follows and just forgets about.

Ho, ho ho and a merry dollar in my pocket from you. I believe most consumers fall for anything that seems unique especially when it is stuffed full with marketing hogwash.

I have heard people talk about these trees but I have yet to go to a store and see one. I guess it is a trend that has yet to hit the midwest. I doubt I will buy one. I am thinking of buying a half tree so I can just mount it on a wall. smile.gif
