Anyone into car racing? Like NASCAR or NHRA?

Which do you like best?

I really like watching the NHRA drag racing, but I will watch the NASCAR races on Sundays.

Oooh, i like Nascar. Its so cool seeing all the cars crash and stuff. I like watching the car while its in the pit stop. Its so cool.

I like watching some of the wrecks if they aren't too serious as well. Have you got a favorite race car driver in NASCAR? My favorite is Dale Jr. (he's the one that drives the Bud car for those that didn't know. *sigh* I liked his dad as well before he passed away.

I've never been into any kind of drag racing, but I've become a big NASCAR fan in the past couple of years. I occasionally watch the Craftsman Trucks, don't too often watch the Busch Series, but I watch the NEXTEL (formerly Winston) Cup Series every weekend, with a lot of the supplemental shows on channels like SPEED (in the USA).

Some people might question this, but my favourite driver is Michael Waltrip. I can't help feeling sorry for him. Since a race at Bristol last year he's had such a run of bad luck. It's ended now, or so it seems, but given the equipment he's driving I can't help wondering where he might be if he'd had all season the luck and consistency he's had the past ten races.

Still, both Mikey, along with his primary sponsor NAPA have both been re-signed to Dale Earnhardt Inc for next season, so, hey, there's always next year.
