Mad Bombers

Bombings by Mad Men

In 1957, New York police finally solved a 16-year string of seemingly random bombings that had plagued the city. George Metesky, or the "mad bomber" as he was known, attracted a lot of attention. He even was interviewed on television about his crimes. People were curious to glimpse into the mind of someone who could hurt people so indiscriminately and with so little remorse.

Bombers Mad

I really do not see a difference, save that one may be doing it for a religious cause, yet the other may also feel they have some kind of spiritual justification as in ethnic cleansing and or moral justice as in those who want to fulfill some kind of Biblical prophecy. Whatever the reason the out come is the same - innocent people die. However, at least with the suicide bomber he / she does not return another day to do the same thing. The law should treat them equally: death.

There is no difference. You are committing the same crime but just using a different method. Who cares what the justification is, innocent people are deliberately murdered.
