Notfrompompe Introduction

Hello every body
I'm a newbee so be gentle.

I live in Portsmouth in the UK. I am a active LDS, joined the church about 5 years ago so I still have lots to learn. Thats the main reason I wanted to join this group, to learn more. I am the first person from my family to join the church, my older two children have joined but are not active at the moment. My youngest son (9) joined last year and hopefully my youngest daughter (7) will join next year. I am a single parent who has been divorced for 5 years now.

I currently work for a retail clothing company part time and I am studing for a Btec National ICT System Support the rest of the time.

What else can I tell you?

I love to chat, I am shy at first but once I feel at ease there's no stopping me

Welcome notfrompompe, glad to have you join us here. I hope that you are able to learn a lot from our discussions as well as share some very useful insight to all of us here. JB you will see a lot around the forums. He takes care of the admin portion of things keeping threads going and such. I have to say from what I have seen thus far he does a very good job at keeping quite a diverse selection of topics that you might be interested in. I haven't been here long myself but have enjoyed every moment of it. I hope you can find a place here with us.

OH, and as JB said, don't be shy to share your opinions, we would love to hear them.

Thanks guys, you certainly know how to make some one feel welcome.
I spent a couple of hours last night looking around the site, I was amazed as there are so many topics. If anyone has any recommendations then feel free to let me have them.
I seem to be meeting quite a few people from Trinidad at the moment, maybe the Spirit is trying to tell me something. : )

By recommendations you mean places to post or read? If so, then your original purpose was LDS Doctrine right? So you can start there. You can then try the LDS Singles Board and Romance Board. Use the Site Map to find all these Boards if you get lost. As you gain posts you will be able to get Mature status and see some more Boards. Have fun.
