The No-Diet Diet
SALT LAKE CITY - When Steven Hawks is tempted by ice cream bars, M&Ms and toffee-covered almonds at the grocery store, he doesn't pass them by. He fills up his shopping cart. It's the no-diet diet, an approach the Brigham Young University health science professor used to lose 50 pounds and to keep it off for more than five years.

All of this sounds really good and well but I have a dispute against it personally. I for the most part eat whatever it is that I feel like eating. My fiancee will agree with that because she complains about what I eat for lunch many days. Unfortunately I have been on a steady increase in weight, nothing dramatic but increasing just the same, for the last two years. Now I have only gained about 40 pounds over the last two years but it is sure enough to notice and I am looking to start trying to shed it back off very soon.
