Why do you think that the Jews have been conquered and scattered so many times? Is it because of sin, bad politics, lack of good fighting armies or too many enemies?

I think that many enemies and a lack of good fighting armies definitely apply. Because of religion, the Jews had many enemies, and were hated in many places. After they have been conquered once, it was probably hard to regain their forces, and they were put to the mercy of the country ruling them.

I am not quiet sure about why but I can give an opinion that maybe will not be very popular between the Jews wink.gif but it is not intended to offend anyone.

As a Christian I think one of the reasons the Jews has been scattered so many times is maybe because they rejected the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah. Of course I am giving my opinion based on religion. I do not think is by chance that Jews has suffered so many things. I think God may be waiting for them to accept his Son as the Messiah and as a Latter-Day Saint I know for a fact that it will happen when Jesus Christ returns again and save them from destruction. (Latter-Day Saint Prophecies).

Well, I voted "because of sin," but I think it is a combination of sin and too many enemies. If it were just because of too many enemies, I think God has shown that he would protect them.

Of course, I also believe that God puts obstacles (or allows others to do so) in the path of those whom he loves as a testing method and also to aid in their growth. I know whenever I have experienced my greatest trials, I have also experienced my greatest growth.

I feel it was due to sin. In the Old Testament we are taught that has long as we follow God we will be able to have him with us, but once we go after strange gods and refuse to worship the one true God he will not strive with us.

I believe one The jews return to the Levitical order and due away with the Rabbinical order the Jews will begin to blossom like a rose in the desert once again. Of course this is my personal belief.
