In October 2005 a new full edition of the Book of Mormon was published in Hiligaynon. Copies of the completed version of the book are available through local distribution centers and also through ward and branch leadership. The completed translation of the book makes it the 77th language to have a full translation of the Book of Mormon in print.

It is amazing the number of languages that the Book of Mormon has been translated into. I remember meeting a professor who was translating the Book of Mormon into an African language that I never heard of before. He claimed it was a difficult task and often one verse had to be repeated (read and re-read) over and over again to ensure the understanding was there.
