I hate to break this to you, but scripted TV shows are not real life. If you want to see real life, look out the window. Spy on your neighbors. (OK, don't do that.) But even the most realistic of scripted programs are just that - scripted.

I agree with scripted tv not being reality. Who wants to watch "reality" anyway when they want to relax? I have enough reality in my every day life, I don't need to add any more to it. How could there ever really be a reality tv show? I do not know much of reality that would happen in front of a camera.
