RESEARCHER: IPOD EARBUDS COULD DAMAGE HEARING
The ever-popular earbuds used with many iPods and other MP3 players may be more stylish than the bigger and bulkier earmuff-type headphones, but they may also be more damaging to one's hearing, according to a Northwestern professor.

I have never heard this argument before. I prefer to use bigger head phones so that background noise doesn't interfere with my music. I have used the smaller ones, and find that I still can't hear as well even when I turn it up. This looks to be a good move since my hearing isn't all the great as it is.
