Anchorage, Alaska is home to Snowzilla, a snowman that stands a bit more than sixteen feet over passersby. The snowman is made of pure snow, hand packed by Billy Ray Powers and his children and neighbors. He had to use a power drill to get the arms into the solid ice snowman.

If this wasn't such an interesting idea seeing as it will be able to stand there for quite some time before it melts, I would normally make the comment that he had too much time on his hands. I just do not know if I would have the patients to devote that much time into a snowman. I wonder if anyone has ever tried to make a snow sled and reindeer? This is just cool though. I think I will pass this along in an e-mail to some co-workers of mine.
