We used to have a banner at the top of the Forum (not Google) and the option would remove that, however we removed that banner completely hence the option does not work because there is nothing to remove.

I am glad everyone is OK with the ads because they are a very necessary part of the Community to keep everything alive and pay for the hefty server costs.
