The government always wants to control everyone so it can do what it wants when it wants with no oversight. Case in point is the TSA who has a new program of if you see something say something so neighbors will report on their neighbors.

I absolutely agree with both of you, and this isn't a Democrat or Republican thing, this is a big government thing and it scares me. For over 240 years we have jealousy guarded all of our freedoms and we may well lose them because of this kind of insidious encroachment.
