This refers to Quotes used on the redirect pages. You can submit a quote to appear there once it has been approved by the Architect.

Quotes Add

I assume this is referring to the ability to add quotes to your post. That is my favorite and most used feature of the site. Its easy to use and can be very helpful in siting specifics, especially in news articles that the news bot posts. I have a hard time using the actual quote buttons and find it easier to just make the quote brackets myself.

I neglected to let Persephone also place links to these features. This is not about quotes in posts, but the quotes used when you see the redirect pages. You can submit a quote that will appear in the redirect pages after approval, see the link in Persephone's message for details.

Quotes Add

I tried to use this feature, but I found out it's only for Platinum Members. Anyway, here is my quote:
"Rediscover yourself in a community full of intelligent, tolerant and spiritual people"

Great quote, this feature is relatively new, I usually update membership options in stages until completed and at the moment I mostly create features for Platinum Members so it was added there.

Offtopic but, I will be needing a contest for August and will try to remember to have one about Quotes.

I like this option because I think it is another great way to include the members, albeit upgraded members, a chance to incorporate themselves into the boards in a different way. I submitted one, and I have seen it several times since then, and it makes me smile everytime I see it.

I'm glad I saw this discussion, because it reminded me I had a quote I wanted to enter. In fact it was the quote I used to enter that contest a while back. Now I just need to find that contest discussion. I like the concept of members adding quotes. It gives the forum more character (if that is even possible).

I have thought many times of adding a quote here but for some reason every time I get ready to do so I can never remember what quote it was I was going to add. Maybe one day I can get my mind and my hands to work together and get it done.

*I did add a quote to the new portal but that is a different database I believe.
