Based on your experiences what for you was the Jungle Gym & Cafe's rating, pros and cons?

I've only been to a few. For the most part, they are an excellent idea and can keep mum and kid sane for a few hours.

However, there were a few problems I accounted. (This is only about the ones I've been to, so this may not be across the board!)

The first was that it doesn't matter what time you arrive, you still have to pay the same amount. So if you arrive with only one hour left til closing time, you still have to pay the same as the kid that has been there all afternoon.

The other thing that was a bit crazy was the food. If they included anything other than junk food to their cafe, than I would be ok with the fact that you were unable to bring outside food into the gym.

The last thing I have a problem with is some of the parents, who seem to think if their child is in the play area, then they don't need to worry about them. When I was there once, there was a child (who was not any more than two) who had fallen and started to cry. I was trying to find out where the mother was. The child was getting more and more distressed and finally when the mum decided to come over, she rolled her eyes at me and said "Kids!" As if there was no problem.

So in conclusion, I think these are a great idea in theory.
