I saw this movie last weekend with my husband. He thought that it looked cute and romantic, so he suggested that it might be fun to see it. We were a bit shocked at all of the crude comments and the level of immodesty in the movie. Though there were some places in the movie that were funny, the humor was overshadowed by the plot. This is what happens when we don't research a movie well enough before we see it. The whole premise is that a woman pays for a man to be her boyfriend at her sisters wedding, but we didn't realize that his actual occupation was a male escort. The best man is the woman's ex-fiancee, which is why she paid the escort to pretend to be her boyfriend in the first place. I don't want to give anymore of the movie away, but if you are bothered by partially n-de scenes and immodest language/behavior, then this might not be the movie you want to see. After looking up the movie online now, I see that the movie got terrible reviews, and I would have to agree for the most part. (rottentomatoes.com)

The Wedding Date (Hover)
The entire storyline principle of this movie seems a little cliche. It sounds like a version of pretty woman meets some other stereotypical wedding movie. My wife really wants to see it, but I have mixed views on it. Apparently, people who have seen it have very mixed views because they range from excellent to `don't waste your time`. IMDB has several good reviews on the movie and may help you decide. Ultimately, its a romantic chick flick, so guys, remember that when think of a movie to go see.
