I got a Reply about using their content in the format presented on that site:
In a follow on Email where I directly asked them about copying their Pathfinder related text this was the reply:
It seems that, using the example of this post Source 5, the names of Deities fall under both the Product Identity as well as the Community Use Policy. Since this site isn't commercial, I should be able to refer to the names and give summaries to my players. Also, the main game will not be interrupted with links.
Is the issue with links that people become lost? Or does it sap your hosting resources?
Icon, I agree with JB. I feel you might be able to better attract other players if the information needed for your game was easier to find. The Pathfinder site can be very confusing and hard to navigate. I was very hesitant in wanting to play in your Role-playing Game because of that. I do however have to say that you have been very helpful with finding the correct link to the correct information needed. If you could perhaps (If copy and paste is allowed from that site) put your information needed into your settings thread? And as for character makeup perhaps put basic information in your character thread? You're the GM and that's all up to you, but from my perspective as an interested player it would be easier for all involved. (Except perhaps extra work for you!)
I have to say that after getting threw all the information and getting my character made I really like the [Pathfinder] game. I had never heard of it until I seen your game. You should be a writer if your aren't already one. I like how you tell a story and describe the surroundings, you don't go over board and keep the game moving, very imaginative, you reek of intelligence. Love it so far thank you.
Thanks, Canabusis, your enjoyment and this comment mean a lot to me. I find that play by post gives me time to error check, rule check and consider my words carefully. At my offline game I'm only about a quarter as good as this, but the players progress their characters faster, so there is a trade-off. As for the skills I employ, I'm just applying what I learnt in primary and high schools, my life is heading in a completely different direction. Lastly, I prefer to think of intelligence as a more of a scent.
