It is a sunny day with few clouds in the air. A slight chil from the east makes it cool but not cold. She looks at an unusual formation of birds in the sky heading north and she takes it as a sign.
Having seen enough she retires to her book and once again begins reading. She could spend all day reading but that would not get her castle any bigger so some time is dedicated to plotting.
Krusten returns to the window. She looks over at the blacksmith's castle. She is determined that once given the opportunity that she will upgrade her place beyond what the blacksmith can do.
Having finished her reading for the day she puts her book down after marking her spot with a dried black rose. She opens the rear door of her castle and begins inspecting her garden - something she rarely does.
"There aren't enough black roses in this garden, I need to hire one of those village gardeners to tender the garden so it is more befitting of a queen, the problem is who can you trust these days?" She thinks.
