Well, fortunately this is something that I don't have to worry about as I have never liked the taste of cola. I don't drink caffeinated drinks in general, but I would not even drink decaffeinated cola. Since it seems to be the flavor that is causing the damage, rather than the carbonation, sugar or caffeine, I am home free
