World Alternative Hazard El

This is the sequel to the OVA's called El Hazard. While I don't like it as much, it is still a pretty cool anime. Our hero and heroine return in this one. Miz and Jinnai get sucked into an alternate world when Jinnai is trying to sneak into Makoto's lab. The other dimension is weird, all gray and dismal, with an industrial city and a castle protecting it. They find some of the same enemies in this world, slightly different, as well as other bizarre enemies. This show keeps you on your toes and seems to constantly re-invent the enemy with new ideas and traps that you don't generally see coming. At one point, they make an ally and don't find out he is bad until near the end of the series, really cool.
