Nighthawk I think you have a very good point here mate. Lobbyists are really devils or saints to the eye of the beholder. I don't quite agree that all left-leaning lobbyists use dirty tricks, likewise there are a lot of honest right-leaning lobbyists.
But your general point is very true. I think the only further point I would make is that certain lobby groups wield a lot more power than others. Especially the likes of Jewish lobbyists who have a lot of sway in congress. I think it is those lobbysits who have exaggerated power that need to be looked at regardless of their convictions.
