Television evangelist Pat Robertson suggested Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, which Robertson opposed.

Pat Robertson is a fool.

I don't care how many people are upset by that comment, he is a fool. He is ignorant of the facts in Israel. The fact of the matter is that Israel tends to strike civilian targets purposefully, out of the security ministers mouth. They make a bigger statement. Those lands have officially been named Palestine and given to the Palestinians. Israel is withdrawing an illegal occupation in which they killed hundreds of women and children, but you will never see that on mainstream news. If anything, God punished Ariel Sharon because he has been the bloodiest leader Israel has seen in the past two decades! His stroke was not punishment, but the cause of eating bad and having lots of stress. Robertson calls every catastrophe and every single bad event in the world punishment from God. He said Katrina was punishment from God. Does he have any idea how many small towns of people were wiped out? What an ignorant fool, and I will stand by and fiercely defend that statement!
