AUSSIE AIRLINES FEEL THE WEIGHT OF FAT FLYERS
Australia's growing obesity problem is forcing airlines to adopt unique measures to cater for the increasing number of overweight passengers.

I like how the airline mentioned is dealing with it in a more subtle way. The article mentions how one of their aircrafts has 45 inch wide seat between arm rests, which is quite big for an airplane seat. They are trying to develop a plan to fix the problem of losing money, but at the same time, they are trying to allow their passengers to keep a sense of dignity. While there is talk of charging more for larger seats, many are against that because they do not want to risk losing their passengers forever.
