Great start, that should be enough to get the story started, in this thread we we start working on a Character Sheet. Most of my character creation rules are in the first post of this thread. So why don't you go ahead and assign points to the six ability scores posting them in this tread, while we continue the story in the thread linked below.

The streets of The Free City of Restov had always been more inviting than Zork's birthplace, the capital of New Stetven. Being thrown from the noble dwelling of the House Lodovka when he was young had a huge impact on his life. The worst part was many of the rooms went unoccupied, space wasted, but he was not allowed, since his blood wasn't pure. Like that was his choice!
Hitting the open road was the best decision Zork took. Finding Restov, a city of people's rights and self made nobles was a godsend. Some days he could even get odd jobs and find shelter! When he joined the patrol of guards, they allowed him in, and he became close with them that day. However when night fell, the section returned to the barracks.
The man standing at the gate wore a mean and exhausted expression on his face, and a well kept dress coat over chain mail. "What is this joker doing with you?" He shouted pointing straight at Zork. The soldiers fumbled for words.
You can write your reply in the Prologue thread at Source 4
It shouldn't take more than two weeks alone before we join the other party member.
Two weeks to play or make a move? I'm not sure what you mean by two weeks? I tried the generator to see if that give you what you need but its confusing for me so this is all I was able to get.

What I meant was, I will gradually introduce your character into the story, and in about 2 weeks time, your character will meet Theaton (KNtoran's character) who is already playing. So follow the link and post your reply while we also finish your character.
Excellent first attempt at a character! Just a few suggestions I will make to optimise him and a few details missed out. It looks like you used the Treasure Trove 3.75 Character generator, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Firstly, you have 3 ability scores at 11, which doesn't have a great affect compared to only a 10 (As you can see, the modifier is +0 in both cases). If you moved one or two points around between the 3 of them, they will have different effects.
Constitution will increase your Fortitude save, add 1 hit point per level and reduce your chance of dying when knocked unconscious. Probably the best choice for a fighter, but not required.
Intelligence will award you with one extra starting language and 1 skill point at each level, also boosting your knowledge skills.
Wisdom will increase your Willpower save and wisdom-based skills, like perception.
We are not using Action Points, so please remove that line.
Your Equipment list is empty. As a fighter you start with 5d6x10 gold (That is 5 dice, six-sided, added together. Then multiplied by 10). Every character begins with an item of clothing worth 10 gold pieces or less. In the Pazio PRD, under the Core Rulebook section there will be an Equipment chapter.
Using the Sword, Short as an example: it costs 10 gp, and weighs 2 lbs. As a weapon it does 1d6 damage (For a Medium sized wielder), it does a Critical hit on a d20 roll of 19 or 20 for x2 damage, and it does P (Piercing) type damage. It has no special abilities.
Armour has a different set of statistics, with only cost and weight in common. Below them is a section on Goods and Services, including Adventuring Gear, tools and clothes.
To speed up selection of Goods and Services, switch to the Ultimate Equipment book. In the Gear section, under Adventuring Gear there is a Fighter's Kit prepared costing 9 gp and weighing 29 lbs. I quote "This kit includes a backpack, a bedroll, a belt pouch, a flint and steel, an iron pot, a mess kit, rope, soap, torches (10), trail rations (5 days), and a waterskin." Which should be good enough to start.
Your selection of feats is rather simplistic, and one of your feats hast to be from the Combat category. On the character generator, I know the list is very long and daunting so let me make a few suggestions. Fighters using 2-handed weapons favour Power Attack and Cleave, where more nimble fighters can take Two-Weapon Fighting. Then there's options of Weapon Focus and Shield Focus.
And finally, I allow players to pick 3 traits in my game. These are unique skills based on a character's persona and background.
You have already picked Bastard as a Campaign trait which gives you this ability: "You take a –1 penalty on all Charisma-based skill checks made when dealing with members of nobility but gain a +1 trait bonus on Will saves as a result of your stubbornness and individuality. (The penalty aspect of this trait is removed if you ever manage to establish yourself as a true noble.)"
I present a list that I think would be right for your character, but you can choose any traits you find. Please select two more, with only one from each of the following categories:
Combat traits
Hard to kill
Muscle of the Society
Reactionary
Resilient
Regional traits
Vagabond Child (Urban)
Brave
Frostborn
Survivalist
Social traits
Ambitious
Convincing Liar
Seeker
If you can't find the descriptions of these traits, I can post them, just ask.
Thank you for the suggestions. [Here] is what I came up with after following your instructions:
Strength 17 (+3)
Dexterity 12 (+1)
Constitution 13 (+1)
Intelligence 10 (+0)
Wisdom 10 (+0)
Charisma 13 (+1)
For gold I got 180 gold so I will get:
- Short sword
- Fighter kit, a backpack, a bedroll, a belt pouch, a flint and steel, an iron pot, a mess kit, rope, soap, torches (10), trail rations (5 days), and a waterskin
That leaves me with 161 gold so all I need now is some armor. Any recommendations for the gold I have?
For feats I can have two weapon fighting?
From the list I chose (I don't know what they do, just sounds good);
Combat traits - Hard to kill
Regional traits - Survivalist
Social traits - Convincing Liar
I hope I'm following your lead good enough.
I am glad you managed to make it through that load of text!
In Restov where you are about to be trained, the fashion is in duelling, so no armor or light armor. Studded leather (25 gold), and Chain shirts (100 gold) are common. Also Scale mail (50 gold) is a good choice for its price, but it is Medium armor and will reduce your movement speed to 20, and impart a -4 on Dexterity skills, but worth it to start. I would also buy another weapon.
For the feat, Two-Weapon Fighting says "Prerequisite: [Dexterity] 15" So I'm sorry but you can't, unless you moved around the ability scores further (Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned it, but I think it's better if you know). But you have a good spread for a 2-handed weapon fighter or a sword and shield fighter. 2 handers are usually better at doing damage.
Now the 3 Skill Focuses on your original character are actually feats, so you have to decide which one or two to drop or even replace them all. Skill Focus only gives a +3 to the selected skill.
For the traits I only needed two more not three. Unless you want to swap out the Bastard trait. Let me post the descriptions:
"Hard to Kill: When you are attempting a Constitution check to stabilize when dying, the penalty on the check is only half your negative hit point total instead of your full negative hit point total. (Useful for a fighter)"
"Survivalist: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Fortitude saves."
"Convincing Liar: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Bluff or Intimidate checks and one of these skills (Your choice) is a class skill for you."
And because I think its a good choice if you want one of the three skill listed (You did mention that you learned skills from the streets):
"Vagabond Child (Urban): Select one of the following skills: Disable Device, Escape Artist, or Sleight of Hand. You gain a +1 trait bonus on checks with that skill, and it is always a class skill for you."
A Class Skill means a +3 bonus when you put your first skill rank into it, different to Dungeons & Dragons. The three skill ranks you placed were in class skills, even though you are free to put them in any skill (You just lose the bonus). Most of the skills are self explanatory, except Disable Device, which is used to undo traps and unlock doors.
If you have any further questions, it's totally fine. Don't forget to continue the story in the Prologue thread.
I will like the studded leather and chain shirt, can that be a combo?
For the feat I rather be a sword and shield fighter because in dungeons or close spaces I might be able to fight better?
For the traits and stuff its kid of confusing, can you chose for me? I think you might have a picture of the kind of character I'm after - rugged guy with nothing to lose.
Oh, I will visit there again to see what was said.
You can wear both, but only the Chain shirt will provide +4 Armor Class (AC for short), since armor bonuses don't stack. So I assume you'll take only the shirt. You will also need a shield, since that is the feat you are choosing. Light, Heavy or Tower shields are available in steel or wood. Start with a light wooden shield (3 gold), then we can discuss buying a new one or maybe specialising with tower shields when you level up.
So, the feat you want is Shield Focus
"Prerequisites: Shield Proficiency, base attack bonus +1.
Benefit: Increase the AC bonus granted by any shield you are using by 1."
I have read that Step Up, and the feat tree that it unlocks, is a good choice for controlling the battle.
"Prerequisite: Base attack bonus +1.
Benefit: Whenever an adjacent foe attempts to take a 5-foot step away from you, you may also make a 5-foot step as an immediate action so long as you end up adjacent to the foe that triggered this ability. If you take this step, you cannot take a 5-foot step during your next turn. If you take an action to move during your next turn, subtract 5 feet from your total movement."
Which is good against archers and spell casters, allowing you to move 5 feet on their turn. If they try to shoot or cast, you get a free attack if you are next to them.
So, which of your 3 Skill Focuses do you want to remove to make space for these feats?
For the traits, just use Hard to Kill and Vagabond Child, as well as Bastard which you chose before.
So I would suggest generating the character again with the changes. Make sure you select the Feats and Traits from the menu. Since they don't seem to be programmed into the generator, you have to manually add a +1 in the Misc Modifier section. Click the diamond to be purple, add a name for the modifier, select Will and Disable Device and add one to each. Then under skills you have to tick the box next to Disable Device manually to make it a class skill (Not the column under the #! The sword icon means you took a Skill Focus feat in that skill).
Also, Bastard isn't an available trait so you have to type it in. I think it fits best in the Race section (Since there's no section for Campaign traits).
I chose Disable Device as the example, because it is useful and no party member has it yet. But if you feel it is out of character, you can choose from the other skills available.
Then the hard part will be over. Once you learn a few mechanics and try to build one or two more characters, you'll be able a access a whole world of adventures!
Yes, the chain shirt and wooden shield please so that leaves me with 58 gold.
For the traits and skills I will go with your choices, please select. I am not sure about the bonuses and all of that because this whole system is rather new and confusing for me. I did not know they made txt Role-playing Games so complex now its like filing a tax return just to play a game. I'm sure that when I get into it everything will be more clear but right now its like a big fog on the mind.
