Theaton and Shivas break the cover of bushes and start searching. About 10 seconds later, a sound comes form the first platform 100 feet away to the west. A set of boots hit the ground hard as a bandit slips off while climbing the tree. His eyes go wide and he mutters "Dammit!". He holds a bow, but looks ready to run away.
Out of Character: I will take initiative rolls and only 1 round of combat only. Be aware that he will attempt to run his initiative of 9 so ranged attacks after that may have range increment penalties.
Remember that in Pathfinder, Move Silently was merged into Stealth, and Search into Perception.
It was the funniest thing; he rolled an excellent stealth and had a bonus for being on the camouflaged platform, but he had a terrible perception. So you snuck right past him without either noticing.
Tarak stays in the bushes to cover Theaton and Shivas while they search. When he hears the bandit fall, he steps into the open to try and get a shot with his bow.
Out of Character:: Initiative: 10+1=11
Attack: 15+2=17
Damage: 6
Shivas already having her scimitar at hand she decides to rush the bandit, yelling as she runs straight at him. "Surrender or may your punishment be death. By Sarenrae I will."
If the bandit surrenders she will search the man and remove all of his weapons and gear. If the bandit makes a run for it, she will follow suit. If the bandit attacks she will fight back.
Out of Character:: Initiative: 12+2=14
Attack: 11-1=10
Damage: 2
A volley of 2 arrows streak across the field towards the bandit. He takes his first steps of sprinting as they hit and sink into his torso. His body flops and rolls a few feet with the momentum. Shivas is slowed by the bushes and grasses, soon reaching the road near the bandit.
Out of Character: Yes, that's all, (Laugh). And I've already given you the XP for that bandit mistakenly.
Shivas goes to the bandit and checks for a pulse. If he is still alive she will tie him up and ask for aid in putting him with the other bandits with the horses. She then gathers everyone together for one final healing, channeling her energy.
After all the bandits are secure she begins her search of the camp. Looking specifically for a cart if possible to haul what gear and supplies they find back to Oleg and Svetlana. Also not forgetting about Svetlana's ring she looks through everything she see's.
Out of Character:: Heal check: 9+7= 16
Channel energy: 6
Perspective roll: 11+5= 16, 10+5=15, 1+5=6, 16+5=21
(Don't know how many rolls I will need to search everything in the bandits camp.)
Tarak will assist Shivas in tying up the bandit and securing him to a horse. After the healing has been done, Tarak will help search every square inch of the camp for anything valuable, as well as Svetlana's ring.
Out of Character:: Perception: 14, 6, 5, 12, 14, 16
The bandit has a pulse and is not bleeding profusely, so Shivas ties him with Tarak's assistance. He carries the standard equipment as the other bandits:
Leather Armor
Longbow
Only 12 arrows
Shortsword
2 Rations
And 10 gold pieces.
The body is taken to the horses, where you see the bandit woman struggling with her bindings, the horse stepping awkwardly as its load shifts. Inspecting the binds, she has made no progress.
Shivas' healing causes the two arrows to eject from the bandit's back and he wakes up. "What happened? I'm... Alive! Thank you, thank you!"
The woman interrupts, "Yan! Stop your grovelling!"
He yelps in shock, noticing the woman. "Sorry, sorry, sorry."
The most noticeable items in the camp are the heavily weathered cart missing a wheel and another wheel split, which you saw by the road as you came in, and some food that was thrown in the dirt by the campfire.
Under the east watchtower-platform is a bundle of firewood, nuts, jerky, smoked hare, and:
5 tents
And an inactive Bear Trap.
A canvas covers more items under those:
3 sacks contain 321 silver,
20 gold,
A pair of silver earrings,
A small box with a turning handle and access panel that rings with a fine mechanism when moved,
3 crates measuring around 3 by 3 by 5 feet,
And a polished wooden case which clinks and sloshes when handled.
As she's about to give up, on the road by the cart, Shivas notices 2 peculiar stones among the other rocks. They are polished smooth and fit together along a perfectly flat but angled surface. Put together, a symbol of a lightning bolt is indented along the crack. Clearly the work of skilled hands.
The two platforms are unchecked; they are 20 feet up and require climbing the trees to access.
Out of Character:: If you were checking the bandit for hidden items, that takes one check. You only need 1 roll per 'room', I'll take each other roll as a sweep of the area, searching multiple times back and forth. If you have the time in game, taking 20 is an option, but everything here is easy to find.
Even if you don't have the Appraise skill you can try to value items, but it's still a hard check.
