So Zork is keeping 2 longbows?
Oleg explains, "One of the clerics, a woman of Sarenrae the sun goddess, came here with the charter to explore the land. The charter was written by the Swordlords of Restov and also includes a clause about dealing with bandits. She was here at the beginning of the month when my post was attacked. She helped bring the bandits to justice, bless her.
"The other guy is a priest of Erastil, the god of the wild frontier. Popular god around these parts. He came a few days later speaking of visions of a lost temple. I'm sure he will help the exploiters a lot.
"Any other questions?"
Out of Character: Oh right, I forgot it was 2. I will sell the other then.
In Character: "A clause about dealing with bandits?" Zork says questioningly.
Zork will ask the store keeper if his discount for the healing potion was still applicable.
"The charter," Oleg replies, "Is an order given by Restov to explore a vast expanse of area south of here. They knew there was an existing bandit problem, so it was mentioned that unrepentant bandits must be executed either by sword or rope, which is normally the sentence in the city."
"Yes, you can still buy healing potions for 48 gold. I also just got a stronger variety in stock which I can sell for 300 gold. And there are the other kings of potions still for sale."
Zork thanks the man for his explanation and then buys 2 healing potions with the money he got from the things as well as his own purse. Zork will rest and the next day he will ask the commander for advice about his next move.
The feast is held in Oleg's personal dining room to avoid the sleet outside. It is short yet filling, and Kesten certainly has too much to drink. The other guards bring him into the guest house and leave him in the entrance corridor.
While talking, Zork learns that Oleg is a stern and proud yet free man, dedicated to his wife and to this fort which he chose to live in to escape the "Sins of civilization" In his words, but not too far to lose its benefits. Svetlana however is more dependant on her husband, speaks eloquently and is rather pretty. She is less knowledgeable in a trade, preferring cooking, folk remedies and tales, and she also knows a lot about alcohols, explaining everything about the wine bottles opened during the feast.

Out of Character: 1 more hit point healed overnight, so Zork should be on 6 (I think).
Using a variety of oils and creams, as well as the basic first aid of changing bandages, Svetlana recommends you stay in bed and rest while she gets Kesten. When asked for advice, Kesten sits in silent thought for a few minutes.
He starts, "There really is not much to do. The bandits' stories conflicted when questioned here, and will surely do the same when on trial in Restov. That is if they even have a trial. It can take months for the legal system to even start a case! It's only been two weeks since they were sent there.
"And even if the city did get a reliable lead, we would certainly hear about it. This is one of two staging points they would use and they would send us reinforcements. That is, once the paperwork is out of the way," He grumbles the last sentence.
"One thing I do remember is the explorers used a truth-telling spell on the bandit leader. They ordered a scroll from Oleg just for that. They would know what to do, but they aren't here."
Out of Character: Yes I'm on 6.
Zork will stay at rest until he is fully healed so he does not have to use his newly bought potions. If nothing eventful happens by then he will revisit the place where he killed the bandits to see what is new.

Zork heals 2 hit points overnight. Svetlana apologises that her efforts could not aid more and that healing is taking so long.
While it is still dark outside, Tarak and Kesten come in to report that the Will-o-wisp has been seen haunting the countryside and that its out there right now, about 2 hours ride away. Tarak also mentions a campfire he saw out there and fears for the safety of whoever rested there.
Kesten says that he's prepared flour to throw at the invisible creature to spot it easier. He and the two guards are all going to rescue the people. He gives Zork the option to go or not, borrowing one of Oleg's spare horses.
As much as Zork will like to rest he knows he should not waste opportunities. He thanks the woman and sets off with the guards saying, "I will come back to rest later so I'm fully restored".
