Headed, in the same direction at the moment yes, following you, not so much. And if I was a wanted man do you think I would be out in the open like this? Furthermore, if I was a wanted man, following you, and I owned a firearm, why in the nine hells would I ever let you even see me?
Out of Character I'll try to see who the wanted poster is of.
At a glance Grogdrol sees the sketch of a man with a long face topped with messy hair and stubble on the wanted poster. It's not a man you recognise. There is some text and a picture of a wolf at the bottom, beside the official seal of Restov.
"You might be really bad at hiding," The man replies with a smirk. "I've seen the whole range. People so inept you have to feel sorry for them as well as experts who invent their own distractions and disguises and even employ illusions. But even they get overconfident, and an illusion doesn't block swords or arrows."
"You seem alright. You got angry instead of defensive. I can trust you. What say we travel together, strength in numbers and all that?"
"Where are you headed anyway?"
Out of Character: As you don't have any ranks in the Knowledge skill, these are 'untrained' and your maximum result is a 10, even if you roll higher. Not all skills are trained-only though and you can roll skills like Climb or Diplomacy with no penalty.
Seems reasonable. I'm headed towards Oleg's. How about you?
out of character I want to sense motive to see if he has a hidden agenda or if he means any ill will.
"I was going to Fort Serenko first," The man replies. He seems genuine and upfront as he speaks in his gruff tone. "But my journey will not end there. I must warn the folk nearby about my target; A man who is a shadow of his former self, apparently bitten by a werewolf. He was a farmer from near Restov, but his herd was found mauled one night, and a month later his wife and child were dead as well."
"The inn owner in town had seen him, but apparently he only stopped in town for supplies and continued onwards. That was a three days ago, he could be anywhere in the wilderness now. But I suspect west or south of Oleg's since it's the furthest point away from any nearby town."
"I hope I didn't scare you because, despite being an expert, any help I can get is useful." He reaches into his bag, then extends his hand over to you to offer a wanted poster and 3 silver bullets, just the projectiles. "A few years back some townsfolk gave me them as a reward. Of course I'm not wealthy enough to have a firearm of my own. I haven't met anyone this far north who uses them. Would you join me in this hunt?"

Sure I'll join you, a threat like that must be dealt with, but is there no other way then to kill him? Clerics can cure many things with there magic, do you know if they could possibly help him with this affliction? Because if so it would be a shame to murder a man that may not be able to control himself.
"It's not murder, it's his sentence. He is a changed man now. If he was still in control of his actions in human form, he wouldn't know that he was the werewolf. But he tried to go into hiding. It seems clear that he will do anything to survive.
"I have only heard tales of those clerics powerful enough to cure lycanthropy, never seen it happen. They are extremely rare and thus busy with more important matters and expensive to hire.
"However," He pulls out a large vial of thick liquid with a purple flower suspended in it. He continues, "I rely on this; wolfsbane. A poison, to be sure, but it's also a cure. Better to be dead than be a werewolf.
"But I wouldn't even try it on this target. What if the first dose fails? Where will he be locked up in quarantine? What if he breaks out while I'm transporting him?"
True, as much as I don't want to have to kill someone that is, sorry, was innocent, he does need to be dealt with.
The man smiles in return, handing you the warrant and the 3 silver bullets but no powder to go with them. Smiling he says, "Glad I can count on you. I'm Ulric Thorne, or just Thorne. I didn't catch your name."
After introduction he talks a bit about the monsters he's previously killed, having started in the army killing kobolds and eastern barbarian tribes and moving up to fighting centaur and giants. Eventually he retired but continued to hunt for monsters with large bounties.
