A prisoner lost some 30 pounds so he could squeeze through a hole he chiseled in a brick wall and escape from a maximum security jail in Sydney.

Well, if there was any motivation to lose weight, escaping from prison would definitely be a strong one. I didn't get to read the article in its entirety, but it sounds like the prisoner could be the poster child for weight loss. Maybe we need to be feeding prisoners more junk food; its cheaper and would keep them slow and plump
