Looking Hot!
As a Christian do you believe that your date should refer to you as 'Looking Hot!' or 'Totally Sexy' or should such descriptions be left for someone else? How about if you do think you look 'hot' or 'sexy' or should you not be thinking that way?
As far as what if you feel yourself that you look !Hot! or !Sexy!, should I think that way? I have to admit I have my times that I do feel this way and other times that I do not. I do not believe that you should *strut your stuff* because you feel you look hot but at the same time you should think about how you look and have a good opinion on it. Self confidence goes a long way relating to yourself as well as allowing your date to relate to you in a personal enough manner to actually get to know one another. If you lack confidence in how you appear to your date you are likely to hold back and not truly be yourself. I do believe you must feel this way to an extent so long as this is not an overwhelming thought on your mind.
As a Christian I feel that my date should be honest and open enough for them to share whatever it is that is on their mind with me. This is a large part of being open with me. If they feel that I am *Looking Hot* or *Totally Sexy* and they choose to share this with me I cannot see this as being a bad thing. While I would not recommend this be the terms people refer to someone during Sunday morning service, I simply see nothing wrong with it. That being said, it is not because I feel it would be wrong to say just because of where we are or who is around but rather it being a time that your mind should be on Someone much greater than myself.
Everyone knows that we do not speak nor do we today use terms as they did in the biblical days. Today's society accepts these terms as being adjectives of the english language which hold general meanings just as any other dictionary term that you can reference in the Bible. Just because these phrases are not worded as you would read in your Sunday school lesson does not make them less appropriate.
I am very curious as to see everyone elses opinions on this. I do encourage everyone to share without fear of judgment.
