Chakra
What are your thoughts about 'Chakra', which can be defined as "In Hinduism and its spiritual systems of yoga and in some related eastern cultures, as well as in some segments of the New Age movement -- and to some degree the distinctly different New Thought movement -- a chakra is thought to be an energy node in the human body."

I think that the idea of Chakra as some credence when considering how one little thing in your body, if its the wrong area, can effect the entire body negatively. However, much of Chakra relies heavily on spiritualism on top of some actual physical truths about the body. But the new age movement, as well as other eastern religions have taken Chakra from several points in the body, to all over the body. Kundalini involves releasing the power, coiled inside your body, out to help heal your body. Many people have had wonderful experiences with this, but others claim it releases the evil in your body, while others say that it opens you up to demon possession. In Hinduism, Chakra has seven points and does not involve Kundalini. The new age movements has incorporated it into a single entity making them one and the same to most non-eastern seekers.
