Obama Admin Admits China's One-Child Policy Ups Sex Trafficking, Won't Condemn It
The US State Department this past week released its yearly, "Trafficking in Persons Report." China received an automatic downgrade to the lowest ranking, Tier 3, for being a destination country for sex-trafficking.
The State Department acknowledged the one-child policy as the "key source of demand" for sex-trafficking and forced prostitution within the country, but remained silent regarding the abolition of the harmful policy in its list of policy recommendations for China. Ref. Source 2

In China, the human trafficking industry is booming thanks to China’s brutal one-child policy, which has taken the lives of 400 million unborn children since it took effect 34 years ago. Its inevitable that a society with little regard for human life is going to care much what happens to one person or even a few people so abortion, sex trafficking and similar crimes will happen without much intervention from the authorities.
