The group stops half mile out from mouth rides north a mile then cuts east to 1/2 mile east of the mouth and finishes the search or heads back to the camp at K8 if getting too dark.

[party Order] Patrol RPG PBP Medieval World

Krusten push's the wagon hard directly toward the mountains, once there the wagon is emptied of arrows slings stone and melee weapons. The wagon dumped on its side in a spot that is most protective.

Bows and slings readied and melee weapons on ground close by. If any grappling hook are tossed to up right the wagon it will be severed.

Kalfie, and Klar will keep their melee weapons with them along with their bows and remain on horse back once the wagon is turned on its side.

They will stay close to the wagon and switch to melee weapons once required.

Once the charging group gets within range we will shoot arrows and sling stones in an attempt to stop their charge.

If no arrows appear to be coming our way they will remain on horse till it seems best to change this. If they drop to the ground bows and melee weapons will come with them.

Horses will be secured the best they can in the area.

If the the group turns back towards the mouth after a fight Klar and Kalfie will ride forward a bit and shoot arrows at the group.

Page 5 Patrol Order party

The group will head to either the trees or mountain which ever is closest.

Use this if the trees are closer, either wise we continue as planned.

Turn and head north as we make for the trees.


In either case they will goes as stated below to the point where the wagon can be dumped (if enough time on its side close to the mountain to make a better barricade.)

Beowulf can be in back with sling and stones as Kalfie and Klar ride next to the wagon shooting arrows. When they get close enough all can switch to melee weapons. To help protect Krusten as much as possible.

We should will not over push the wagon hard though as we do not want to over stress the horse.

Patrol Order party

After resting the horses and watering them the group heads back to k8. As they go they will try and note if any rock formations had moved.

There they replenish the water and check the animal traps. Once the horses are well rested and the wagon fortified with Green limbs from the trees so as to make walls they can leave lying in the bottom of the wagon and pull them up and placed as required at the ends and sides. About 3 feet high. A hot meal will be made from Klar's chickens if no animals are trapped that are edible.

They then head back to the (k11 nearing L10) deaths mouth 3/4 miles out from it close to the mountains and out of site of the mouth. There they intend to set camp and fortifications in the form of traps.

The traps will be focused on the southern and western areas and consist of 10 foot pits with stakes in the bottom.

The leading edge of each trapped marked so that the group knows where it is.

Once done they will prepare for the night and dig pits to hide in need the fire. Dummies will be set the best they can nearer to the fire so as to make it look like they sleep there.

They hope a supply wagon will come this way as it will be set so the main wagon passage can be seen and easily monitored. Preferable right near it.

The next day pits to the north will be set also and marked similarly. Once completed Klar and Kalfie will make a water run if required and check the traps.

They group seeing the darkness decides to camp the night and return early to finish their plans in the plains.

All will stay awake till 11:00 then Klar and Beowolf will take fist watch and switch with Krusten and Kalfie at 2:00 AM. Dummies will be set by fire and those sleeping will take to the wagon. The watchers will be concealed.

Before leaving in the AM the traps will be checked again and water replenished.
