Sorry to be late all, you know girl stuff. Anyhow I think we got into things way to fast. Don't let the edgy warriors thinking let's do this properly. We should have stayed in the woods and sent a couple to scout the area and then return rather than all of us go in the middle of the plains and sit like ducks. I guess I agree with the concept Beowolf has so go back, camp somewhere safe and then scout.

Patrol Camp

Beowolf yes in time we might manage to find such a spot hope one to west and one to east.

KNtoran I need your thoughts here we are split as to where to stay so I am wiling to try a quick run back to the trees should be there by5 pm is my thought. Give us an hour or two to get ready.

I have put brackets in the post as an alternative. I was also thinking we could add that if a suitable rock out cropping was found we would use it if the tree line is too far beyond out travel time.

I do not like the sounds of a cave we will be sitting ducks and have no way out. THey can sit there and wait us or starve us out. Going back to the tree line and being just inside it is a idea but I think we are safer out here in the open plains. Just find a outcropping close enough to give us some shelter if any are to be found.

....We are at a stale mate I think KNtoran is right the open plains. we can place the fire so as to hide it and hiding behind the rocks gives us cover as well as the drop on any aproaching. I f we are in lucjk and the moon is out we should seem movement a good ways off. No mater where we are wolves are an issue.

We need to come to an agreement on this.


So here is my suggested post.

Any who are asked by the villagers reply that they are heading out to deliver good for the monastery in another village.

The group looks about to find a defend able rock outcrop in the area that would be defend able from both wolf and man. It would be such that a person can be protected and allow bow or sword to be used. If no such out crop can be found they will head to the nearest tree stand that would offer adequate protection for a camp.

Once the site is found camp will be set and prepared for a night attack. Dummies will be set around the camp fire using stuffed cloaks.

Two rest while three watch second shift two watch. First watch stats 12:00 ends 03:00 Klar and Beowolf will take it. Second watch Klafie and Krusten and cirdan will be on watch.

Watchers will be in trees if in that area and rest in the wagon sleeping. If in an outcrop all will watch and rest from the out crop.

Wagon will be unhitched from the horsed and the horses secured in an area they can be seen and protected from wolves or theft.

I think that is a good post. We need to get away from the trees so they can not remain hidden from us like last time I had a run in with some of them. I want to see what I am aiming at and get a idea of what we are up against.

I think that is good enough let's do it and see what the result gives. Maybe we should of hired a tracker or bought a map of the area.
